Misión
Ibercivis es una fundación privada sin ánimo de lucro que tiene como objetivos realizar, promover y visibilizar la ciencia ciudadana. Para la consecución de sus objetivos, y en colaboración con diversos agentes científicos y sociales, la Fundación Ibercivis:
Investigamos
Realiza y promueve investigaciones en muy diferentes áreas de conocimiento científico en los ámbitos local, nacional e internacional.
Apoyamos
Proporciona apoyo técnico, difusión y formación de modo que cualquier persona pueda participar en la investigación científica, en función de sus intereses y capacidades siempre dinámicas.

Actividad
Citizen Science
Ibercivis has deployed more than 70 hands-on citizen science experiments and projects, from 45 different research groups and reaching over 70,000 participants.
Open Science LABS
Ibercivis participates in the coordination of the CESAR Laboratories in Zaragoza (Spain), a set of 7 open labs: Fablab, WetLab, Sound, Video, Electronic and Robotic labs, where citizen participation is encouraged.
Citizen Science
ENGAGEMENT
Ibercivis has extensive experience in the development and use of methodologies for citizen participation in scientific projects.
These methodologies can be applied to other types of projects where citizen participation is required.
Citizenship SCIENCE & ARTS
Through our open labs and projects we have created a vast community of participants that explores the relationships between science and arts.
Digital DEVELOPMENT
We develop and deploy online platforms
and mobile apps for citizen science support. We work with technologies that allow voluntary computing,
crowdsourced analysis and contribution of data, collective intelligence and much more.
Strategies & Plans of COMMUNICATION
We engage communities around our citizen science projects through specific communication plans, identifying audiences and key messages and disseminating their results.
Graphic & Editorial DESIGN
We create visual content to communicate the key messages of our citizen science projects. We develop the overall layout and production design such as logos,
brochures, reports, infographics and didactic material.
